How can I create an account? Where is the sign in button?

There are no accounts in the traditional sense, you don't register on a platform by using an email address or phone number. The Beekeeping App values your privacy and doest not collect and sell your data.

By opening the Beekeeping App on your computer or phone you are creating automatically an unique account on that device automatically. This account exists only on that account and is not stored on any server on the internet.

All the informations you are providing about your apiaries, hives, tasks etc. are stored only on that device, they are never send to the server.

How can I use Beekeeping App on multiple devices?

You can pair two or more devices with each other by going into settings and exchanging the pairing code between two devices. In the pairing process one devices acts as a host - it shares its data and the second devices acts as a client - it recives the data shared by host.

Step 1. On the first device that should be the host device go to Settings > Sync with other devices and click on the "Get pairing code" button. The pairing code will be displayed on the screen. That pairing code will can be used only once and it is valid only for some time.

Step 2. On the second device go to Settings > Sync with other devices and click on the "Add new device" button. Enter the pairing code from the first device and click on the "Send code" button.

Step 3. Now both devices are paired and are sharing a signle account between them. Any modification made on one device will be synchronized to the second device when both devices will be online.

All the data from the host device will be copied to the client device. All the data present on the client device before the pairing process will be lost.
